Hope for Vietnam

Hope for Vietnam is a funding project to help with a ministry in an area of Southern California called "Little Saigon." It is the largest concentration of Vietnamese people outside Vietnam. These funds will help provide a permanent facility for a congregation of about 250 Vietnamese Christians that is the only Vietnamese Pentecostal congregation in this community of 200,000 where there are 34 Buddhist temples. It was started in 1982 by Rev. Tuan Ma, who was one of the last individuals to be evacuated from the U.S. Embassy (where he served as a security guard) after the fall of Saigon.
